Duddon Valley
After the hares picking up a puncture on leaving the campsite, off they went to set the r*n in the pouring rain.
A select few gathered at the start sheltering awaiting the return of the hares. A bedraggled pair appeared just as we'd taken the decision to start without the hares.
After a quick check by the hares to make sure we were going in the right direction, it was some time before we saw them at the beer stop.
By this time, the weather had improved and started to dry and warm up.
This was a lovely r*n through some varied and previously unknown countryside.
A big thank you to the hares for braving the elements.
