The Grand Master is seen as the figurehead of the hash. Someone of great standing and natural authority who makes the final indecision.

Religious Advisor
Baldbrick
The role of the Religious Advisor is to hand out justice for any misdemeanours that have occurred on the r*n. This is done in the "circle" after the r*n where the RA dispenses "Down Downs", a punishment consisting of a measure of ale which is taken whilst the rest of the hash sing a rousing chorus.
