The Tartan One

This is my first hash write up which I should have seen coming because when I arrived at the "check in" I saw everyone wearing tartan, whoops!

I thought to myself " that's not a good way to start the day", especially with Daughter in tow. Anyway I pulled myself together and just as I thought I'd got away with it someone shouted " Donald where's ye troosers" I felt like Jimmy Krankie with a dose of stage fright.

Before I could shout fandabidozi I was given the honour of this writeup.,thank you indeed!,Anyway, cutting to the chase, what followed was a magical day running around the fells and the glens of the Southern Lakes with Russ Abbot and Billy Connelly lookalikes. I did hear someone shout "C U Jimmy " but it wore a little thin after running up what felt like, the North face of the Eiger. (13,000 ft), we actually ran 1200 ft but you get my drift…just saying!

Sorry if I'm rambling to much but it is my way of saying that everyone seemed to be having a great time. I personally would like to thank all you runners/walkers for " keeping it real" and not forgetting their troosers.

Thank you all and Bless the lot of you.
