The hares promised a short r*n, and they delivered! A scenic 2km route around the normally peaceful and quiet village of Dent brought the hordes of hounds back to the campsite from whence they crossed the wall through to the festival field.  Yes it was raining, yes the mud was reaching Glastonbury proportions, but yes - there was a whole marquee of beer and yes the music went on to 12.30am - much dancing followed and of course the most important part of the day was singing Hashy Birthday to the Old Fart 60 year old Dormouse - we sang it not once, not twice - but three times - and toasted him in champagne - served in classy hash tankards!!  And also 3 cheers for our wonderful new Lune Valley Hash Rain shelter!
