R*n 528: Morecambe

It was great to do a Hash again, I've not been able to get to many r*ns over the past twelve months so it was good to see some old friends and to meet a new face.

The trail was well marked, with two splits (unusual for an evening r*n) and firm going underfoot. The only drawback was the vast quantity of Shiggy, unfortunately of the doggy kind! We all had to be careful where we put our feet. We had an extensive tour taking in the cycle/foot path and the delightful suburbs of Morecambe, with plenty of opportunity to enjoy the moonlit views from the prom over Morecambe Bay. The whole thing took about an hour, with the Wimps and Rambos arriving back at more or less the same time, so there was no hanging around in the cold waiting for stragglers to get back safely. Just right for a winter full-mooner.

Unusually there were no Down-Downs, as we all behaved ourselves, so after a quick drink and a song to the Hares the party split up, some to Frankie and Benny's and some for home. Thanks to Bubbles and Forever Blowing for an excellent r*n, see you all soon.
