R*n 48: Lancaster

As a handful of hardened hashers and one virgin huddled together in Marco's car park we knew it was going to be a long, cold, wet one.

Rain hampered play as we set off and were hare assisted for the first part of the hash.  The trail had been washed away in various places and the ratio of torches to hashers was pretty poor so the hare's assistance was invaluable.  Having said that he did giggle malevolently as we trotted passed the first potential on inn and proceeded into the dark over muddy terrain across a barely detectable footpath.

On to the first on inn and we arrived at the Greaves Hotel somewhat warmer but still wet.  Having downed a swift beer we then were faced with a wimps Rambo split which culminated at the second on inn, the Water Witch.  We were told that the wimp's route was the fastest to this beer stop so arriving there to find the Rambo's already with beer in hand was quite a surprise.

Next on the route was a very nice trip around Lancaster Castle (which the Accused did not do as he applied Rule 8 of the Non Rules and using his initiative he waited for the rest of us to reappear).

On inn the Three Mariners. Warm and very wet. Having placed our curry order we then trotted off to the John O'Gaunt even though by this time we were extremely soggy we did our best to blend into the crowd as we managed one or two more beers.

On inn again to the Bombay Balti where whilst consuming our meal we began the hand over procedure.  No More Cum has been voted New GM, ably assisted by Slackbladder as RA, and Atomic Caton as Hash Cash. Warm, p***ed and very wet.
