LANCASTER PUB OF THE YEAR 2014
Quality not Quantity
Our stellar hares - Major Twit & Upperskirt - had stepped up at short notice to offer this little gem of a trail on a warm and sunny Sunday. Hounds were from Caton/Brookhouse with the notable exception of No More Cum, fresh from his travels and back home in "More Cum".
Finding the out trail proved almost insurmountable with the result that there were no further sightings of Baldbrick! Lucky that most of us were on home ground and able to manage without guidance from the horn.
A check which did not require checking was actually within easy sight of the beer stop car - thank you Upperskirt!
GM's immortal words that "anyone who attends the circles at start and finish of a hash shall be deemed to have attended the hash" enabled Baldbrick to add number 628 to his tally. This did not of course come without the requisite down down for going missing.
Other misdemeanours that I remember included talking politics (NMC & FOTH) and chatting to a passer-by while supposedly checking (none other than GM).
Several of us continued the chat over a pleasant lunch in the pub garden (ex bowling green)
Thank you hares!
