The Hares told us that this was a Wellies and Umbrella run and they were not wrong! (Except how can anyone run in wellies and carrying an Umbrella?). Fortunately there were not too many of us to shelter under the back door of their car for the pre-run drinks, celebrating Cyber's forthcoming birthday, and the circle but from then on there was no way we could avoid getting wet. However the run had it's good points; it was well marked, fairly short, there was a beer stop and some good view points (even if we could not see the views!).  Still everything looked (and felt) better once we could dry off in the comfort of the On Inn where we were shocked to find that the beer was £1.70 per pint!
