St. Michaels - The long trouser run!

Ah, boll****!!!...pardon the language! I'd totally forgotten that i'd been dobbed in as scribe...bring on my down-downs!!!

Right so lets try and remember what went on on r*n 444. I can't even remember what i was upto yesterday let alone 2 weeks ago but here goes!

Well to start with I was late to The Grapes hence I took the 1st wimps option and headed off into the sprawling metropilis that is St Michaels. Catching the pack we turned right at the quaint little substation and this was the last time we saw a decent track and the last time our trainers saw light above the mud. From here we ran round and round the wind swept fylde through a bit of mud, a bit more mud, swam through some more mud, got a bit more wind swept with a splattering of mud and then met the rambo's at beer stop number 1... then off we all went on the next leg skipping down the road and then turned right off the road for a little more ...mud, mud glorious mud. Through a little bit of a boggy bit, paddled through a puddle of mud and then...oh then we ran through a bramble patch. Through a flooded field and across a field that resembled running across blancmange (or however you spell the angel delight type dessert!?).  Then we dodged our way through the local clay pigeon shoot and yahoo - beer stop number two! Final leg of the hash was not for the faint hearted (as warned by Twisted) and took us off along and slipping down the river bank, I don't think we lost any hashers into the raging torrent of the river wyre...but I can't be sure.

ON-ON onto the on-inn and back to The Grapes where I had to sneak off early. Hence, arrive late and leave early = scribe. So, unsure of the down-downs I shall make some up!!! Luckily Hash Flash has provided some evidence to go on, so down-downs were awarded to Shiggy Pop for steeling a grannie's zimmer frame en-route,  Virgin Rosie got a down-down for inappropriate moonying. Baldbrick who is usually so well behaved on a hash missbehaved and received a down-down for general flactulance and final down-down was dished out to hare herself Twisted for insufficient shiggy on the hash and using her mobile phone to contact the hounds on the hash!

Hope that has summed up r*n 444, for those of you who missed it you did miss out!

See you all soon

On-On
